What if you could bring a slice of the Italian countryside to Ohio? That’s exactly what Marissa and Nick managed to do at their Gervasi Vineyard wedding. 

It’s not every day that I get the chance to shoot a wedding with a couple like Marissa and Nick—fun, energetic, and featuring the pups of the family. The morning began with Marissa and her bridesmaids in champagne satin gowns and ended with an unforgettable evening reception.

I’ve been photographing weddings for 14 years now, and couples like Marissa and Nick remind me of why I love what I do. The vineyard itself was stunning—stone pathways with vines, Tuscan-inspired architecture, the ideal natural lighting—it all came together thanks to Marissa and Nick.

A Reception Among the Vines

Once the sun began to set over the vineyard, guests moved into a reception space. A champagne tower poured over a wine barrel paired well with their simple cake with fresh florals. Still, the DJ kept the energy high and the mood fun, leading to some of the best photos of the night.
